A ceremonial feast prepared for you and several guests you have not yet met.

Please take your seat. The table is already set.

Vegetables are washed until they forget the soil. Fish cleaned, opened, returned to silence. Everything is in order.

This is how it’s always been done.

The table adjusts itself.

Utensils feel warmer than before. A hand rests where a spoon should be. No one mentions it. The arrangement remains beautiful.
